GVE COMMERCIAL SOLUTIONS - AN INTRODUCTION:

GVE Commercial Solutions was established in September 2005 to offer professional, commercial and contractual advice and support to companies within the construction industry.

The partnership has very quickly developed a reputation for providing work of a very high standard and for assisting our clients in meeting their commercial targets.

The three partners have all worked extensively as consultants within the industry over the past 15 – 20 years and as such have had the benefit of working with a wide variety of clients on challenging construction projects both within the UK and overseas. This experience has included work within the full range of construction disciplines principally:

Marine Mechanical & Electrical Process Works

This has in turn led to the use of a wide variety of standard and bespoke contract forms. Similarly this work has included commissions for both clients and contractors within the industry.

Previous experience and training has particularly led to involvement in the identification of areas for the recovery of costs associated with additional works, delay and disruption and the subsequent production of documentation to support the recovery of monies due to our clients. Whilst normally such matters have been resolved through negotiation, this work has also included the resolution of disputes through active participation in both adjudication and arbitration procedures.

We also have active experience in the preparation of contractor based insurance claims and assisting insolvency practitioners.
